The more than 100 advocational cooking classes taught by Dan Macey have ranged from “Fun and Sun Fiesta” to “Holiday Appetizers” to “Entertaining Made Easy.” His experience as a journalist has allowed him to educate himself on various culinary trends or styles and then use his cooking and food styling background to teach what he has learned to others.
He creates recipes as well as interesting background information to go along with the themed classes. He teaches in Bucks and Montgomery County, Pa. as well as Sur La Table in Marlton, N.J. He can travel to other regional cooking schools and has a plethora of themed cooking classes already organized. Dan Macey is especially known for simplifying techniques and recipes to allow cooks to enjoy creating meals at home.
He has also supported well-known cookbook authors and chefs with food presentations, demonstrations and book signings.
He also has catered various functions and presented cooking lessons in various homes as well as on television for corporate clients.
