He has plenty of experience appearing and demonstrating recipes on camera, once even selling nearly $75,000 worth of a cookbook in eight minutes on QVC. His years of teaching cooking classes as well as his background working behind the scenes in various television projects has allowed Dan Macey to be at ease promoting a food product or cause in front of an audience – whether it be live or taped. His journalism experience allows him to understand the needs of the press and how they operate. Hundreds of food styling jobs has given him the opportunity to know what recipes works and which food look best to photograph. He has experience working with a number of trade groups both food styling and assisting on promotion teams.
